Goblet

Michel Henderson Gjedersten, Pori, Finland, c. 1647–1655

Silver, gilt

13,5 cm × 12,0 cm

Goblets from the Baroque period characteristically have a simple shape with straight sides that widen slightly towards the top. The goblet in the collection is engraved with a mirror monogram surrounded by acanthus leaves. Partial gilding completes the ornamentation.
