Pair of candlesticks

Nils Enberg, Turku, Finland, 1763.

Silver.

21,5 cm x 13,5 cm.

Candlesticks were used for adorning fine dinner settings. The specimens in the collection have an asymmetrical, spiral shape. It is rare to find a complete pair of candleholders from this era, as they tend to have been separated over the course of the centuries.
